Say Goodbye to 2009

Again, another fun filled month. Lots of people to see, places to go, things to do. I asked mom, "can't we just stay home a bit. Do we have to go, go, go???" She told me, "Honey, welcome to December!" There are so many fun things to talk about in December. I think I'll just do a timeline of the month's events, as not to babble on...
  • The first Saturday included the Sons of Italy kids Christmas party. I went with Nona, Auntie Jess, and Mommy. We did some crafts and I got to see Santa. During the party, Grandpa John was working hard on the float for the Lighted Christmas Parade which we attended that night..

  • The next morning, Sunday, we got up early to head up to Lassen to cut down our Christmas tree. It was far too cold, and you all know how I would prefer to be naked. I guess snow and I just aren't seeing eye to eye. We hurried home to get some family pictures done with our whole family. I cried the whole session.

  • The next weekend, I got to stay the night with Grammy and Grandpa so Mommy and Daddy could go to their Christmas party. Oh yeah, Daddy had a LOOOOOONNNGG! week at work that week, and he wasn't even "working." I'm sure you know the story.

  • The third weekend started on Friday when I got to go with Daddy to the Christmas party at Mommy's preschool. I can't wait until I can go there everyday! Mommy says she isn't ready for that yet!
  • That Sarurday was the RPD kids Christmas Party. Bouncy House, Friends, and Santa. I Actually kinda like that guy!

  • The Next Wednesday, I spent the day with Nona while Mommy and Daddy delivered gifts for Operation Blue Santa. Then we had dinner with the WHOLE Family at Great Grandma Micki and Great Grandpa Hal's.
  • Thusday was Christmas Eve. We went to Auntie Jessie and Uncle Bubba's for dinner. Nona and Grandpa got me a police car, just like Daddy's. Auntie Jess got a The Night Before Christmas book. She even recorded herself reading it! Then we went to Heather and Cody's for another celebration. I guess this week, my bedtime has gone from 7:30 to 10ish...

  • Then my 1st Christmas was finally here. Boy was I spoiled by everyone! I'm such a lucky girl!!!!

  • After a nice, calm, post Christmas week, I rang in the New Year in bed. The Moore's came over for dinner and Kellin went on a ride-a-long with Daddy. Hannah and Mommy did some scrapbooking while Aiden and I slept. Until, there were fireworks at midnight and the barking dogs woke me up.

So, I guess I didn't avoid the babbling. Oh Well!!

WELCOME 2010!!!!
